Chaparral Parking and Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up Guidelines

Chaparral’s parking lot is limited in size, and with many students arriving and leaving each day, safety is our top priority. To help ensure a safe and efficient process, we ask all families to follow our strict drop-off and pick-up procedures. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to keeping our school community safe and efficient. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

🚶‍♀️ Plan Ahead

Arrive early
Park along Bird Farm when possible.
Older students can walk to a designated meeting spot.
Walk or use the drop-off pick-up lane with younger students.
Preschool, TK, and Kinder students must be picked up by a guardian who must walk to their child’s teacher, use visitor or street parking, and walk onto campus. Do not use the drop-off/pick-up lane.

🚗 Pick-Up & Drop-Off Efficiency

Pull forward to load/unload.
Students should be ready to exit/enter promptly as soon as their car comes to a complete stop.
Multiple cars loading & unloading keep traffic moving quickly.
Do not exit your car under any circumstances.

🔄 No Left Turn on Exit

Right turns only at the parking lot exit to maintain traffic flow. Left turns are not permitted under any circumstances.

🚫 Staff Parking & Bus Entry Only

Do not park in the lot marked STAFF. Our staff parking is limited.
Do not enter the BUS drop-off and pick-up zone. This area is STRICTLY for buses.

🚦 Traffic and Safety Rules

Do not drive on the wrong side of the road. To avoid the line on Bird Farm, use side streets to approach Chaparral from the east side.
Obey the crosswalk laws.
Do not call students to cross the street or the parking lot unaccompanied.
